Background
In order to enhance competitiveness of Hong Kong Nonwovens Industry in Southeast Asia and Middle East, to significantly promoting marketing of advance technology and products in Hong Kong Nonwovens Industry to highlight its strength, Hong Kong Nonwovens Association (HKNA) applies successfully on the Trade and Industrial Organisation Support Fund of the Trade and Industry Department, HKSAR Government and project title is “Promoting high quality nonwovens products to ASEAN and Middle East for market expansion and to showcase green technology application in future nonwovens products”. Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) is implementation organization. In the project, a platform is developed for Hong Kong Nonwovens Industry to promote their green technology and products, in order to strengthen the connection of nonwovens industry between Hong Kong and Southeast Asia markets and entering Middle East market effectively, including understanding their local business environment, competition status and market demand.
The project include an ANFA Nonwovens Conference 2023, establishment of Hong Kong pavilions at Arab Health 2024 in Dubai; establishment of Hong Kong pavilions at ANEX 2024 in Taipei with technical conferences and business networking sessions, a video to promote Hong Kong Nonwovens Industry and project website.
HKNA applied for the Trade and Industrial Organization Support Fund in 2019 with the project titled of Promotion of High Quality Products of Hong Kong Nonwovens Industry in Mainland China and ASEAN “One Belt One Road” Markets (T19 002 013). The project was completed on 17th August 2022 successfully. Project details is uploaded to website ”Previous TSF Project”.
